Ayush facilities have been established at primary health centres across Cuddalore district, enhancing local healthcare access. The Minister for Housing and Urban Development inaugurated new buildings dedicated to Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, and Homeopathy at specific PHCs.
Each of these facilities, constructed at an estimated cost of ₹15 lakh each, spans 45.43 sq.metres and is equipped with essential amenities. These include consultation rooms, pharmacies, waiting halls, and toilets, all developed under the National Ayush Mission.
The initiative underscores the State Government's dedication to improving infrastructure in government hospitals and primary health centres. The aim is to provide the public with accessible, high-quality medical services and ensure efficient treatment delivery. Special Ayush camps are also being organized in government schools to address health concerns among students.
These efforts reflect a broader strategy to strengthen public health services, making integrated medical care more readily available to the community. The newly inaugurated Ayush facilities are expected to serve a significant number of patients regularly.
