The Kottakkal Arya Vaidya Sala, a healthcare institution with over 125 years of experience, champions the integration of traditional Ayurvedic knowledge with modern scientific approaches. Its charitable hospital has made a profound impact, treating over 20 million patients in the last decade through free services. Annually, the institution provides Ayurvedic care to more than 1.8 million patients across India, demonstrating a strong commitment to accessible healthcare.
Further promoting traditional medicine, the Ayush Ministry has established an export promotion council. Ayurveda's global acceptance is expanding, with over 25 countries now recognizing it. A recent WHO Global Summit saw nearly 100 countries agree to promote traditional medicine, including Ayurveda and Yoga, signaling a growing international embrace of these practices.
