Andhra University Hosts Free Health Camp for Yoga Day

Andhra University's Department of Yoga and Consciousness organized a significant free health check-up and consultation camp on Friday, June 13, 2026. This event served as a precursor to the upcoming International Day of Yoga celebrations.

The camp, guided by Dr. K. Vishnu Prasad of M.B. Super Speciality Hospital, featured specialists across gynaecology, neurology, orthopaedics, and general medicine. A total of 220 individuals availed themselves of free medical services, including consultations and vital diagnostic tests such as Vitamin D3 and B12 screenings.

Furthering the health initiatives, Visakha Eye Hospital conducted an eye-screening camp that benefited 75 people. Participants received thorough eye examinations and expert medical advice. K. Ramesh Babu headed the coordination of these important community health programs.
