Summary
- Amazon's AI health assistant is now accessible to all website and app users.
- The tool addresses over 30 conditions, offering symptom management and virtual assessments.
- Customers do not need a Prime or One Medical membership to use the free assistant.

Amazon is making its artificial intelligence health assistant available to all customers who use its website and app, a move announced on March 11, 2026. This AI tool is designed to help manage symptoms and offer virtual assessments for more than 30 non-emergency conditions.
The assistant can explain results, answer questions about medications, and connect patients with providers when necessary. It aims to reduce logistical and informational friction in healthcare. This service, initially announced in January 2026, was previously only available to members of Amazon's clinical services provider, One Medical.
Customers can opt-in to allow the assistant to access their medical data, including lab results and clinical notes, and analyze past healthcare purchases on Amazon. While the assistant does not create treatment plans, it guides users toward providers for complex conditions. Non-members or those not using an introductory offer will incur a $29 fee for provider visits.
