Actor Akshay Battles Stomach Ache, Film Shoot on Hold

Actor Akshay recently revealed he has been grappling with a significant health problem for some time, experiencing a persistent stomach ache and burning sensation. Initially, he, like many, dismissed these symptoms as temporary, but the discomfort worsened considerably.

His health took a turn for the worse approximately fifteen days into the shoot for his upcoming untitled feature film. Experiencing noticeable swelling on the left side of his abdomen, he consulted a doctor. This led to an endoscopy and hospital observation, with further tests, including a biopsy, now pending.

Akshay is currently on medication and a restricted diet, as doctors suspect an intestinal infection. He expressed a strong desire for a swift recovery, hoping his biopsy report rules out any major concerns. The actor is eager to return to filming his big-budget movie, which has been put on hold due to his health.
