A significant ₹400 crore underground drainage project for Udupi city is currently awaiting government approval.
To address the issue proactively, city officials have been directed to conduct a comprehensive survey of wastewater treatment facilities in residential complexes. A detailed report on their availability, condition, and operation is expected within 20 days. This initiative aims to ensure compliance and improve wastewater management practices across the city.
