During the period from January 2024 to October 2025, TGPCB also facilitated growth by approving 2,620 new companies and issuing operational permits to 3,521 existing units, following rigorous environmental checks for air and water pollution. Extensive sample collection, including 7,966 wastewater/hazardous waste and 3,807 air pollutant samples, underscores the commitment to stringent pollution management.

To enhance oversight, a 24/7 online monitoring cell has been established for 501 highly polluting industries.
