He urged the local representatives to educate the public and create awareness on these issues, as he believes that addressing small matters can lead to significant benefits for public health and the environment.
The Chief Minister also advised the local body representatives to prepare for the upcoming monsoon season, ensuring that basic services such as water supply and electricity are not affected. He called for the formation of committees comprising social groups and local residents to plan in advance for the rainy season, which he believes will help reduce disasters.
Stressing the importance of transparency in financial transactions and the management of local bodies, Mr. Stalin assured the representatives that their suggestions from the meeting would be considered and implemented.
