This rain will be followed by a significant wind advisory set to take effect at 2 p.m. statewide.
Sustained winds are predicted to range from 15 to 25 mph, with gusts potentially reaching 40 mph. Following this windy period, frigid arctic air will sweep across the Sunshine State. Actual temperatures are expected to drop into the low 30s. By Sunday morning, areas further inland within the counties could experience temperatures near freezing, while wind chills will make it feel as cold as the low 20s across the entire metroplex.
