Shoebills, often called "dinosaur birds," inhabit wetlands across East-Central Africa. The International Union for Conservation of Nature classifies them as 'Vulnerable,' estimating their mature population between 3,300 and 5,300 individuals. Their diet includes fish and reptiles, such as baby crocodiles, contributing to their unique ecological role.
