Sea Burps Plastic: Rakesh Bedi's Stark Warning

Actor Rakesh Bedi has drawn a poignant parallel between human indigestion and the sea's reaction to plastic pollution. He vividly described the sea 'burping' out thousands of tonnes of plastic, citing the recent accumulation on Mumbai's Juhu and Dadar beaches.

Bedi explained that the ocean, unable to digest the plastic it swallows, returns the waste to the shore. He passionately urged the public to alter their habits and adopt a rule prohibiting plastic near any water body, be it a sea, river, or pond.

Unless immediate action is taken, Bedi warned, the cycle of dumping plastic into the sea and its subsequent return will persist. He called for collective responsibility to break this pattern, stressing the importance of commencing change now. The actor recently garnered significant praise for his role in the blockbuster film 'Dhurandhar'.
