In a remarkable display of animal care, a python was rescued in Gujarat after receiving Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). The incident occurred in a village within the Narmada district, where the snake had sustained a head injury and lost consciousness.
An animal welfare activist from the Jivdaya Premi organization, Bhavinbhai Vasava, administered CPR to the python using a hollow rod. This life-saving procedure helped revive the reptile, which was then safely released back into its natural habitat by the Forest Department and the activist.
This marks the second such revival of a snake in Gujarat this month. Previously, a snake in Valsad was revived using mouth-to-mouth CPR after suffering an electric shock from a power line. These events highlight dedicated efforts to conserve wildlife and respond to animal emergencies.
