Pandas' Snowy Shenanigans Delight National Zoo

Giant pandas Qing Bao and Bao Li embraced the recent winter storm by playing enthusiastically in the snow at the National Zoo. The zoo had closed its doors to the public due to the inclement weather, transforming into a private winter wonderland for its animal inhabitants.

Videos captured the pandas tumbling and interacting with their toys in the fresh powder, with Qing Bao reportedly delighting in the frolics while Bao Li showcased acrobatic skills. Zookeepers confirmed that other animals, including kunekune pigs, a sea lion, and red wolves, also took the opportunity to explore the snowy environment. All animals had access to indoor areas for warmth and comfort.
