On November 14, 2025, the Rotary Club of Nagpur Elite (RCNE) and the Nagpur Garden Club (NGC) organized the 'Red Flower Show 2025' to mark Children's Day and honor the legacy of India's first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru. The event aimed to promote the use of native plant species and encourage environmental conservation through meaningful engagement with nature.
The response from students was overwhelming, as they presented thoughtful flower arrangements, each carrying a powerful message. A key highlight of the show was the strict 'no plastic' rule, reinforcing the importance of sustainability through action. Mount Litera Zee School, Sandipani School, and Hadas High School were the top three winners, recognized for their exceptional participation and creativity.
In addition to the floral displays, a quiz competition further energized the young participants. The event was judged by Prashant Telang and Arvind Patil, while the awards were presented by NGC president Anuja Parchure, RCNE president Jyotsna (Sana) Pandit, and other dignitaries. The NGC team ensured the smooth conduct of the entire event.
