Scientists attribute warmer temperatures during monsoon months partly to El Niño, but emphasize that man-made climate change exacerbates these conditions. Industrial practices and vehicular pollution are altering rainfall patterns by affecting cloud formation, leading to increased heavy downpours instead of consistent drizzle.
