The weather advisory extends beyond the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, covering numerous districts across Maharashtra. Affected areas include Raigad, Ratnagiri, Dhule, Nandurbar, Jalgaon, Nashik, Ahilyanagar, Pune, Satara, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Jalna, Beed, Amravati, Bhandara, Chandrapur, Gadchiroli, Gondia, Nagpur, and Wardha.
In parallel, Mumbai's air quality is reported to be in the 'good' category, with an overall Air Quality Index (AQI) of 30 as of Tuesday. While most areas show good air quality, Sindhi Society recorded the poorest AQI at 65 ('moderate'). Navi Mumbai and Thane also reported good air quality with AQIs of 39 and 32, respectively.
