The college's animal facilities manager, Dean Sharman Frost, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, stating it aligns with the institution's role in animal welfare education and conservation. By housing over 140 diverse species, Moulton College is well-positioned to contribute to Nature's SAFE's mission.
Nature's SAFE, employing advanced cryopreservation techniques, has already secured samples from more than 350 species worldwide. This initiative provides conservationists with a crucial tool to enhance genetic diversity and improve the long-term survival chances of dwindling animal populations.
