She then underwent a challenging three-hour surgery to remove the massive growth, marking a significant veterinary achievement. Following the successful operation and recovery period, Molly was fitted with a satellite tracking device to monitor her well-being.
Her release at Higgs Beach in Key West was witnessed by a crowd of over 100 supporters. Molly, who has captivated many online, headed straight for the ocean, symbolizing her triumphant return to the wild. The tracking device, costing $5,000, will aid researchers in observing her journey for up to two years.
