The institution, established in 2023, operates from the Chambal region and is dedicated to integrating climate accountability into India's burgeoning nature-based tourism sector. ISN's founder, Ram Pratap Singh, expressed pride, stating the award validates their scientific approach to quantifying sustainability and positions India as a future global leader in eco-friendly travel.
ISN also collaborates with SUMAS in Geneva to develop knowledge modules for tourism stakeholders, ensuring compliance with global sustainability mandates. As an open-source knowledge platform, it offers skills and support for low-carbon projects, with future plans to expand into waste management and climate entrepreneurship.
