- This action is part of stage 4 of the Graded Response Action Plan.
- Private institutions are urged to adopt work-from-home until further notice.

In response to the severe air quality in Delhi-NCR, Gurugram has implemented staggered working hours for its government and civic offices starting Monday. This directive, issued by Deputy Commissioner Ajay Kumar, aligns with stage 4 of the Graded Response Action Plan (Grap) to mitigate vehicular pollution and ease traffic congestion.
State government offices will operate from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm, while municipal corporation offices in Gurugram and Manesar, along with councils in Sohna, Pataudi Mandi, and Farrukhnagar, will function from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. The administration also strongly advised private institutions to implement work-from-home policies until further notice.
These emergency measures are designed to reduce traffic density and emissions, complementing existing Grap stage 4 restrictions on construction and industrial activities. The district administration emphasizes public cooperation in avoiding non-essential travel, prioritizing public health and environmental protection.
