Woman Records Terrifying Grizzly Bear Encounter

An unexpected wildlife encounter occurred this week in the Canadian Rockies when a woman walking her dog came face-to-face with a grizzly bear. The incident took place near a campsite and lodge in Kananaskis, Alberta. The woman captured the startling event on her phone as the bear approached, even standing on its hind legs.

She made noise repeatedly to keep the animal at bay, but the grizzly continued to advance. The encounter ended when the bear was distracted and began chasing a moose. The woman was able to seek refuge in a nearby tent until the immediate danger passed.
