Florida Fireworks Allowed Despite Wildfire Risk

As of June 18, 2026, 88% of Florida was experiencing some level of drought, with some areas in extreme to exceptional conditions. Counties currently under a burn ban include Brevard, Charlotte, Collier, Desoto, Glades, Hardee, Manatee, Orange, Osceola, Sarasota, and Seminole. Manatee County's ban, effective June 23, 2026, prohibits explosive compounds, sparklers, and open burning, though previously permitted public displays are still scheduled to proceed.
