This resourceful vixen has established a den on an island within the reedbed, providing a secure environment for her young cubs. This is the second consecutive year she has chosen this location. The reserve's manager noted that the local ducks and geese exhibit a remarkable calmness around the swimming fox.
This unusual behavior stems from the aquatic environment. While the fox would pose a threat on land, her hunting capabilities are nullified in the water.
