Dudley Zoo and Castle is marking Sir David Attenborough's 100th birthday with a special offer for children. Between May 7 and May 10, pre-booked children's tickets are available for just £1, a significant reduction from the usual £15.40 price.
The zoo aims to capture the spirit of Sir David's lifelong work in educating the public about the natural world. A spokesperson stated that children are the future custodians of the planet and expressed hope that a visit will inspire them.
The attraction houses numerous animals, including lions, tigers, meerkats, and flamingos. This initiative aligns with the BBC's own centenary celebrations, which include a week of special programming honoring the broadcaster's contributions.
