On Sunday, Union minister Kirti Vardhan Singh launched the 'NZP Saathi App' and inaugurated self-ticketing kiosks at the National Zoological Park in New Delhi. These digital initiatives aim to significantly improve visitor convenience and promote technological integration within the zoo.
The 'NZP Saathi App,' available for both Android and iOS, acts as a comprehensive guide. It features an interactive digital map, a smart navigation system for locating enclosures and facilities, and offers various thematic tours, including express, family, and customized options.
Visitors can now utilize self-ticketing kiosks, which accept digital payments like UPI and provide complimentary Wi-Fi access. The minister also reviewed student artwork from a summer program and discussed modernization efforts with zoo officials, emphasizing animal welfare and conservation awareness.
