Discussions emphasized the industry's essential role in environmental stewardship and the protection of natural resources like the Pulicat lake. Conservator of Forest, C. Selvam, commended Sri City's proactive conservation efforts and called for sustained industry support to balance business goals with long-term environmental responsibility.
Sri City's managing director, Ravindra Sannareddy, reiterated the company's dedication to ecological responsibility by fostering only non-polluting industries. The Flamingo Festival served as a reminder of the continuous collective action required to safeguard national treasures, including the vital habitats of migratory birds like flamingos.
