This year's awards see an increase from seven to ten designated beaches. Cornwall Councillor Loic Rich celebrated the achievement, noting the world-class quality of Cornwall's coastline and encouraging visitors to maintain cleanliness and protect the marine environment.
These recognized beaches include Crooklets, Polzeath, Porthmeor, Porthminister, Porthmissen/Trevone, Porthtowan, Summerleaze, Widemouth, Gyllyngvase Beach, and the privately owned Carbis Bay. Visitors are advised to utilize beaches with RNLI cover and heed lifeguards' guidance.
