The "Butterfly Walk" specifically aimed to increase awareness among forest personnel regarding the ecological importance of butterflies and the necessity of their conservation. Wildlife researcher Rundan Katkar guided participants through various habitats.
Attendees gained knowledge on butterfly identification, their preferred habitats, host and food plants, and their crucial role in pollination. The observed species included prominent ones like the Common Crow and Crimson Rose, alongside others such as the Great Eggfly and Lemon Pansy.
