Bear Steals Fried Chicken, Shatters Table!

A surprising encounter occurred in Harlan County, Kentucky, when a bear gained entry into a resident's home. The unwelcome visitor immediately shattered a thick glass table before consuming leftover fried chicken. The homeowner, Kendra North, was unaware of the incident until contacted by her sister the following morning.

North believes the bear was attracted by the food left on the table and that the open front door facilitated its entry. She later spotted another bear on her porch two days after the initial home invasion. Experts from Kentucky Fish and Wildlife recommend securing food, pet food, and garbage to prevent bears from accessing easy meals and entering homes.
