Sea Turtle Crusader's Story to Inspire at 2025 Environmental Film Festival

The acclaimed documentary "Turtle Walker" will open the 2025 edition of India's leading environmental film festival, the All Living Things Environmental Film Festival (ALTEFF), taking place from December 4 to 14. Directed by Taira Malaney, the film chronicles the lifelong dedication of Indian sea turtle conservationist Satish Bhaskar to protecting endangered marine life along the country's coastlines.

After premiering at DOC NYC in 2024, "Turtle Walker" has earned international acclaim, screening at major festivals such as Raindance and Hamptons, and receiving top honors at the Jackson Wild Media Awards, AFO, and the International Ocean Film Festival. Combining breathtaking visuals with a deeply personal narrative, the documentary offers a moving exploration of one man's commitment to the natural world and the urgent need to safeguard marine ecosystems.
