The West Bengal School Service Commission (WBSSC) is set to announce the results for Class 9-10 teacher recruitment today, November 24th. This announcement follows an exam held on September 7th for the Second SLST, where candidates are competing for approximately 23,212 vacancies.
Candidates will be able to check their marks from the 60-mark written examination. The WBSSC will subsequently release a preliminary interview list, which will consider written scores, academic qualifications, and teaching experience. This will be followed by document verification and the publication of the final interview list.
In parallel, the document verification process for Class 11-12 assistant teachers, which began on November 18th, is progressing. Despite this ongoing verification, the WBSSC aims to commence interviews for Bengali and English subjects as early as November 26th, to be conducted at Regional School Service Commissions. Only candidates successfully clearing the document verification will be invited for these interviews.
