On October 12, 2025, the West Bengal Police Recruitment Board (WBPRB) conducted the highly anticipated Sub-Inspector (SI) exam. According to the candidates, the overall difficulty level of the WB Police SI exam was moderate.
In terms of the individual sections, the Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude portions were analyzed as moderate, while the General Studies section was reviewed as "not too difficult" by the aspirants. This suggests that the exam paper was well-balanced, catering to the diverse skill sets required for the SI role.
The WBPRB SI exam answer key is now set to be released soon, and candidates can check and download it from the official website, prb.wb.gov.in. Additionally, they will have the opportunity to raise objections to the answer key, if needed. To do so, they will need to visit the official website, enter their login credentials, and follow the prescribed process.
After reviewing the objections, the WBPRB will release the final answer key and the much-awaited results for the SI recruitment drive. This recruitment aims to fill 1,131 vacancies for Sub-Inspectors, both male and female, in the West Bengal Police force.
