The Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has commenced the application process for the VIT Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE) 2027. Prospective students aiming for undergraduate engineering programs at VIT can submit their applications via the official website, viteee.vit.ac.in.
The deadline for submitting applications is March 31, 2027. The VITEEE 2027 examination is tentatively scheduled to occur between April 27 and May 2, 2027. The university has also outlined tentative dates for admit card availability, result announcements, and the online counselling process.
Eligibility requires candidates to have passed or be appearing for their Class 12 examinations in 2027, with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology. A reduced aggregate of 50% is applicable for SC/ST candidates and those from specific regions.
The VITEEE 2027 will be a two-hour computer-based test comprising 100 multiple-choice questions across Mathematics/Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Aptitude, and English. The marking scheme awards four marks for each correct answer and deducts one mark for each incorrect response.
