The Uttar Pradesh Social Welfare Department has officially released the timeline for its 2026-27 scholarship schemes. Student registration for Class 9 to 12 scholarships began on August 11, 2026, through the official portal scholarship.up.gov.in. This applies to students from General, SC, ST, OBC, and minority communities.
The department has also outlined timelines for Dashmottar scholarships, intended for students pursuing graduation, post-graduation, diploma, or ITI courses. These applications will open following institutional data preparation and verification stages.
For Class 9-12 renewal students, fund transfers are anticipated between October 25 and October 31, 2026. Fresh applicants in these classes can expect fund transfers from January 25 to January 31, 2027.
Dashmottar scholarship renewal applicants are scheduled to receive funds between January 16 and January 25, 2027. Fresh Dashmottar applicants should see funds transferred between January 27 and January 31, 2027.
