Student organizations, such as the Progressive Students Forum (PSF), have called for more than just post-incident measures. They are demanding compensation for the student's family, an independent inquiry into the circumstances of the death, and the establishment of a 24/7 health system with dedicated emergency equipment and personnel.
PSF also advocates for a student-led committee to audit health and infrastructure facilities, emphasizing that past student demands for better emergency care and health infrastructure were previously overlooked.
