Skillpoint Alliance, a nonprofit dedicated to providing free, in-demand job training, has announced two new pre-apprentice electrical training programs. These programs are designed to equip underserved populations with essential skills for careers in the skilled trades.
The new classes will foster connections between Texans and high-demand sectors such as energy, construction, manufacturing, and industry within the Permian Basin. The Monahans evening cohort is scheduled from June 1 to August 31 at Odessa College Monahans. The Big Spring cohort will take place from October 5 to October 30 at Howard College.
