Telford College has unveiled its new multi-million-pound sixth form campus, Telford 6th, situated in Telford Town Centre's Station Quarter. The £9m development, funded by Telford & Wrekin Council, has transformed the former Addenbrooke House offices into a modern educational facility. This new campus boasts advanced science labs, a dedicated drama studio, and an arts studio, offering A-Level students access to state-of-the-art resources in the heart of the borough.
Principal Lawrence Wood highlighted that this marks the first time A-Level provision and modern facilities are available directly in Telford & Wrekin, providing a crucial boost for local youth. The relocation makes A-Level courses more accessible, as the campus is within walking distance of the train and bus stations. This initiative is expected to benefit over 500 young people who previously travelled outside the area for their A-Level education. The new Telford 6th campus will welcome its first students in September 2026.
