A group of five Year 10 students from Endon High School have achieved national success and are now preparing for international competition. These students, forming the team End-Tec, were crowned champions of the UK's First Lego League National Final in April, triumphing over 68 other teams.
With aspirations for global recognition, End-Tec has launched a fundraising initiative to secure the necessary £25,000 for their trip to the international contest. This event is scheduled to take place in Jeonju-si, South Korea, from July 3rd to 5th.
The students have meticulously designed and constructed their own Lego robot from the ground up, employing coding language from Python to ensure its functionality. Their teacher highlighted the immense dedication, involving hours of work, required to bring the robot to its current state of readiness for the competition.
