The new campus, located near IIMB's main facility, will initially offer two four-year residential programs: a BSc (Honours) in Economics with a minor in Data Science, and a BSc (Honours) in Data Science with a minor in Economics. The inaugural cohort will consist of 80 students, with 40 enrolling in each program.
This financial support from Tata Trusts will also extend to research in critical areas such as artificial intelligence, data science, and Indian Knowledge Systems. The grant is viewed as instrumental in enabling IIM Bangalore to establish itself as a global leader in undergraduate education.
