On 18 October 2025, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) officially announced the SSC CHSL Exam Date 2025. The Tier 1 examination is scheduled to take place on 12 November 2025, with the exam being held in multiple shifts across various centers in India.
For the first time, SSC has introduced a self slot selection facility for CHSL candidates. From 22 to 28 October 2025, applicants can log in to the candidate portal and choose their preferred exam city, date, and shift. If all slots in the initially selected cities are filled, SSC will provide alternate cities with available slots. Once the selection is made, it cannot be changed, and candidates who fail to select a slot within the given timeframe will be considered as not appearing for the exam.
The city intimation slip, which will help candidates know their exact exam details, will be released a few days before the examination. The SSC CHSL Admit Card 2025 will then be issued four days prior to the exam date, containing details such as the exam date, time, and center address.
