The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has commenced the application process for the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination 2026. This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 2,536 vacancies across several posts, including Data Entry Operator (DEO), Lower Division Clerk (LDC), and Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA).
Aspiring candidates can submit their applications online through the official SSC website, ssc.gov.in, starting September 7, 2026, with the deadline set for October 7, 2026. The deadline for making the online fee payment is October 8, 2026, and the application correction window will be open from October 14 to October 16, 2026.
Essential educational qualifications require candidates to have passed Class 12 from a recognized board. Specifically, for the Data Entry Operator roles in certain ministries, a background in Science with Mathematics is mandatory. Other DEO, LDC, and JSA roles require a standard Class 12 pass. Candidates awaiting their Class 12 results are also eligible to apply, provided they secure the necessary qualification by October 7, 2026.
The schedule for the Tier 1 and Tier 2 Computer-Based Examinations will be announced at a later date. Applicants are encouraged to utilize Aadhaar-based authentication for their One-Time Registration (OTR) and application process on the new SSC website or MySSC mobile application, which can streamline the process and potentially waive photo/signature rejections.
