SRCC Celebrates 100 Years with Alumnus Play

Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) recently celebrated its centenary Founder's Day, marking the founder's birth anniversary. Alumnus Atul Satya Koushik, from the batch of 2006, presented his play 'Prem Ramayan' at the Shridhar Sriram Auditorium. Koushik shared that the play, an attempt to explore hidden love stories within the Ramayan, was inspired by his years at SRCC.
During the event, India Post unveiled a commemorative postal stamp and a centenary medallion to honor SRCC's 100-year milestone. Ajay S Shriram, chairman of the governing body, recalled the college's humble beginnings in 1920 with 12 students, emphasizing its founding principle of education serving society and character development.
Principal Simrit Kaur and Ajay S Shriram also spoke about the college's guiding values, stressing that learning, leadership, and purposeful education remain central to SRCC's ethos. Shri Ram's belief that "learning does not end with degrees" continues to inspire the institution.
