- The scholarship is a tuition fee reduction, no separate application needed.
- It covers students from 10 countries, including India and several Asian nations.

The University of Sheffield is providing a significant £7,000 scholarship opportunity for international students enrolling in postgraduate taught courses in September 2027. This award functions as a direct tuition fee reduction, simplifying the application process as no separate submission is required.
This International Postgraduate Scholarship 2027 is open to students from ten countries and regions, notably including India, Indonesia, Japan, Kenya, Nigeria, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Trkiye, and Vietnam. To qualify, students must commence a postgraduate taught degree in September 2027, hold an offer from the university, and accept it by July 6, 2027.
Eligibility criteria stipulate that applicants must be permanent residents of an eligible nation for the past three years, be classified as overseas students for tuition purposes, and self-fund their education. The scholarship extends to full-time postgraduate taught programmes, including MArch degrees, but excludes Postgraduate Diplomas (PGDip), Postgraduate Certificates (PGCert), and distance-learning courses.
Recipients cannot typically combine this £7,000 scholarship with other university awards or external sponsorships. However, repayable loans are permissible. The scholarship is non-deferrable; students who postpone their admission will forfeit the award. Those in two-year master's programs can receive the scholarship in their second year, provided they successfully complete their first year. It also does not cover mandatory or optional years abroad or in industry.
