The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) has released the results for Class 5 and Class 8 examinations on March 24, 2026. Students can access their digital marksheets online via the official state education portal, rajshaladarpan.rajasthan.gov.in. This year, Class 5 students achieved a pass percentage of 97.75%, while Class 8 students recorded a pass rate of 97.01%.
A significant policy change has been implemented for student promotion. Previously, students in Classes 5 and 8 were often promoted irrespective of their academic performance. However, the RBSE has now stipulated that only students who achieve the minimum required passing marks will be promoted to the next grade.
Following the announcement of results, schools across Rajasthan are scheduled to reopen for the new academic session on April 1, 2026. The academic term will continue until May 15, after which the summer vacation period will begin on May 16 and last until June 20.
