This has resulted in a significant boost in pre-school enrollment, which has risen from 98,000 children last year to 100,000 this year.
Furthermore, the state-level task force on Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) has decided to start Bal Vatikas in 237 PM Shri schools across Rajasthan. These Bal Vatikas focus on making learning a playful experience for children aged 3-6, with a emphasis on linguistic, creative, and cognitive development. The Anganwadi centers also conduct monthly meetings with parents to track children's growth and prepare them for formal schooling.
