The BSTC entrance exam, conducted on May 20, is crucial for admission to approximately 26,000 seats in more than 376 D.El.Ed colleges throughout Rajasthan. This two-year course is a prerequisite for aspiring primary school teachers aiming for the Rajasthan Third Grade Teacher Level 1 position.
To qualify for the upcoming counselling round, candidates must meet specific passing mark criteria. General category students require a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. Reserved categories, including SC, ST, OBC, and PWD, need at least 45% aggregate marks. General category widowed or divorced women also qualify with a 45% aggregate score.
Eligibility for the exam included achieving at least 50% in Class 12 for general candidates, and 45% for SC, ST, OBC, and differently-abled candidates. The age limit for general applicants was 28 years, with provisions for age relaxation for reserved categories.
