On October 27, 2025, the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board announced a comprehensive dress code for candidates appearing in upcoming recruitment exams starting from November 2nd. The new guidelines prohibit the use of wristwatches, bangles, rings, and bracelets during the examinations.
Male candidates are permitted to wear full or half-sleeved shirts, T-shirts, kurta pyjama, and pants, while female candidates can opt for salwar suits with chunnis or saris, half or full-sleeved shirts, kurtas, and blouses. Candidates may also wear coats, sweaters, and warm, full-sleeved jerseys, but they will be required to remove these for verification during the exam.
The board has also banned the use of Bluetooth devices, calculators, smartwatches, and mobile phones. Any candidate found carrying such items will be disqualified from the examination, and legal action may be taken after investigation.
The strict dress code and security measures aim to ensure a fair and transparent examination process, preventing any attempts at cheating or unfair means. The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board is taking these proactive steps to maintain the integrity of the upcoming recruitment exams in the state.
