This visit was part of the Student Police Cadet (SPC) Scheme, a joint effort by the Punjab Police and the state's education department, designed to build a stronger connection between law enforcement and the youth.
The program focused on promoting trust, awareness, and social responsibility among students. Key sessions included an introduction to the SPC Scheme, a historical overview of the academy, and an interactive session addressing practical concerns raised by teachers regarding cadet uniforms and participation in national events.
A significant portion of the event was dedicated to cyber awareness, with an SP from Cyber Crime Mohali educating students on safe online behavior, digital hygiene, and protecting personal information. The initiative successfully blended heritage education with essential modern-day safety awareness for the participating students.
