The Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) in Faridkot has extended the registration deadline for the Punjab NEET PG 2025 counselling round 3 until January 8, 2026. This extension allows more eligible candidates to submit their willingness to participate in the counselling process on the official website. As of the extended deadline, 595 candidates have registered their interest for this round.
Among the registered candidates, a significant number, 435, have expressed willingness for admission to both government and private medical colleges. Additionally, 160 candidates have indicated their preference to be considered solely for government medical college seats. This round of counselling is crucial for admissions to various postgraduate medical courses in Punjab.
Due to the extension of round 3 registrations, BFUHS has announced a postponement of the subsequent counselling schedule. A revised schedule will be published after the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) releases its state counselling schedule for round 3. This update comes amid ongoing uncertainty regarding the NEET PG counselling process nationally.
