Meritorious Law Graduates Aim High: From Judiciary to Community Service

On November 2nd, 2025, meritorious students of Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University were awarded gold medals by top legal luminaries. The graduates, who excelled in various law programs, shared their aspirations to utilize their legal knowledge for the betterment of society.
Atrey Tripathi, a gold medalist in the Post Graduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights, aspires to qualify for the judiciary exam and champion the voiceless. Swarna Yati, who received the Pradeep Kumar Agarwal Memorial Gold Medal for Taxation Law, aims to provide free legal assistance through community service and support legal research and policy drafting. Aman Kumar, a gold medalist in the PG Diploma in Cyber Law, expressed his desire to contribute to the development and strengthening of cyber and data regulation laws in India.
Other award recipients, including LLM gold medalist Harshita Yadav and silver medalist Akshita Singh, also shared their goals to create a better society and become academicians, respectively. Bronze medalists Shriya Awasthi, Rishabh, and Pranjal Pandey aspire to join the judiciary and work in the techno-legal field, ensuring efficient and accessible justice.
In total, 21 medals were awarded to meritorious students, while 309 degrees were conferred upon graduating students. Darshika Pandey, a resident of Kushinagar, received three medals, including the bronze for the highest marks in BA LLB, the Padmavati Mohanlal Jariwala Gold Medal for Constitutional Law, and the Virendra Bhatia Gold Medal for Student of the Year. Abhyuday Pratap won the gold medal in BA LLB (Hons.) and the KK Luthra Memorial Gold Medal for Best Mooter, attributing his success to consistent effort and goal-setting.
